"I'm a Brooklyn based documentary and portrait photographer, exploring the depth of the human experience and the world we live in. As a man of color, a former foster care child and Navy Veteran I’m compelled by visual record keeping, inclusion and the state of impermanence. My photography challenges cultural norms, designation, and peels back the veneer of societal narratives to reveal individual and group identity. My work seeks to visually distill my subjects and reveal their essence. The majority of my work re-purposes these concepts as art. My images invite my viewer into my work, conveying my visual dialect: the humanity, integrity, and truth that lives in each of us. While traveling both nationally and internationally, I focus my lens on biographical portraiture, class, racial equality, and those candid fleeting moments in time."
